Traditional air conditioner and heat pump comparison from two aspects:

1. Work environment
The air source heat pump can operate under low temperature conditions. The one who has used Traditional air conditioner, will know that cooling is good in summer, but when heating in winter, troubles often appear, especially in winter when the temperature is low. The main reason for this is that the ordinary compressor used in the Traditional air conditioner has a low compression ratio. 2. Working methods

The principle of air-source heat pump and Traditional air conditioner is basically the same, both of which convert low-grade cold/heat sources into high-grade cold/heat sources. It’s just that one uses fluorine as the hot and cold medium, and the other uses water as the hot and cold medium, but they are through different indoor terminals.

In terms of cooling, both can use indoor terminal as fan coil, and the effect is not much different. However, in terms of heating, the traditional air conditioner  transfers heat through the fan, and blows out the hot air by the motor working, while air source heat pump can not only work with fan coil, but also can connect with underfloor heating and radiators.

For home comfortable, the floor heating is more better and energy-saving, because floor heating requires the lowest water temperature and requires the least amount of heat to achieve the same effect.
