1. If the buffer tank is not set, the heat pump unit will start and stop frequently.
Especially when the indoor terminal is a radiator or a fan coil, which the amount of circulating water in the loop is limited, will cause the heat pump to reach the design temperature in a short time, the heat pump stops working, and after a short time standby mode, quickly the water temperature reaches the condition for the heat pump to start, so will lead to frequent start and stop, greatly reduce the service life of the heat pump unit and waste electrical energy. The install of buffer water tank is increase of system energy, and the temperature change of the system is stable, the number of start-ups of the main engine is naturally reduced, so the service life is greatly extended.
2. Install a buffer water tank can effectively defrost and shorten the defrosting time.
If buffer tank for heat pump not installed, the unit needs to consume heat in the pipeline during defrosting and reverse cooling. the water volume of the water system is small, the defrosting time will be long, and the water temperature in the pipeline will be lower, and the defrosting effect will not be good. If a buffer tank is installed, during the defrosting process, because there is a certain temperature in the water tank, the defrosting can be completed in a short time, and the heat consumption is relatively small, avoiding the indoor temperature caused by the defrosting of the heat pump volatility changes.
3. The third advantage of the buffer water tank is to ensure the smooth flow of water in the system, to complete automatic exhaust air in the system, to prevent the unit from reporting failure and shutdown due to poor circulation.
4. Install a buffer tank can make the system drain more thoroughly and prevent system blockage.
Impurities in the system will slowly deposit to the bottom of the buffer tank through circulation. When passing through the filter, the water quality of the pump will become better, thereby reducing filter cleaning.
